Master's degree

A highly qualified specialist with deep knowledge and research skills. The master’s program is aimed at in-depth specialization, scientific research and preparation for work in the field of science-intensive technologies. Students are awarded a master’s degree based on the results of a master’s thesis defense. Admission to the master’s program is available to bachelor’s or specialist graduates who have successfully passed the relevant exams and are recognized on a competitive basis.

 

Master’s graduates will be able to realize themselves in science, occupy positions that require analytical and project skills and abilities, conduct independent industrial or socio-economic activities. They also have the right to further study at a graduate school.
Admission on the basis of a bachelor’s degree to study for a master’s degree is carried out based on the results of:

 

· entrance exams,
· foreign language exam,
· taking into account the average score of the supplement to the bachelor’s diploma,
· the results of the rating of creative and professional achievements.

 

Persons who have obtained the “Specialist” qualification are also accepted for master’s degree studies. A person can enter the University to obtain a master’s degree on the basis of a bachelor’s degree obtained in another specialty (directed), subject to the successful completion of additional entrance tests in the forms determined by the Programs of additional entrance tests by specialty.
An entrant who has confirmed his level of knowledge, in particular of the English language, with a valid test certificate (not lower than level B1 of the All-European Recommendations on Language Education or a similar level):

 

· TOEFL,
· International English Language Testing System,
· Cambridge English Language Assessment

 

is exempted from taking the entrance exam in a foreign language. When determining the results of the competition, the specified certificates are equated to the results of the foreign language entrance exam with the highest score.

To participate in the competitive selection, the following must be submitted to the admissions committee:

  • · statement(s) in paper form;
  • · a document certifying identity and citizenship (passport of a citizen of Ukraine, passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad);
  • · a certificate of assignment of an individual tax number (TIN);
  • · a document of the state model on obtaining an education according to the educational and qualification level, on the basis of which the admission is made, and an appendix to it, originals or copies of personal choice;
  • · four color photo cards measuring 3x4 cm;
  • · military ticket or registration certificate;
  • · documents confirming the availability of benefits (if any);
  • · copies of documents (if available) confirming the academic rating of the entrant (diplomas of winners and prize-winners of student Olympiads and competitions, copies of scientific publications, etc.).
