Outstanding achievements of a veteran of the AKSU department

On January 1, 2024, an outstanding scientist, a veteran of the AKSU department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Valery Mykolaivych Azarskov celebrated his 80th birthday. Valery Mykolayovych Azarskov graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers in 1968. In 1983, Azarskov V.M. defended his candidate's thesis on the topic "Methodology and algorithms for determining during operation the dynamic characteristics of aircraft using the example of the TU-144 supersonic aircraft". From 1984 to 1991, he was a member of the Interuniversity Coordination Section of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR on problems of navigation and traffic management. For the cycle of research and development work "Development of the methodology for creating optimal and modernizing existing simulators of aerospace turbulent flight and optimal systems for stabilizing moving objects" was awarded the Academician M.K. Yangel of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In 1998, he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic "Methodology of optimal modernization of control of aerospace flight simulators and simulators." The State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology for 1998 was awarded for the cycle of research, development and implementation works on the creation of the first domestic system of course determination and the latest technologies of autonomous navigation. Since 2000, he headed the Faculty of Aerospace Management Systems. From 2010 to 2013, he was the director of the Institute of Aerospace Management Systems. From 2013 to 2020, he was the head of the Department of Aerospace Management Systems. Currently, he is a professor at the Department of Aerospace Control Systems. Azarskov V.M. I have more than 280 educational and scientific works, including five monographs and 9 textbooks and manuals. Has more than 15 certificates for inventions and patents. Scientific leader of a number of GDRs on the optimization of control systems for aviation and space systems of various purposes. Prepared one doctor of technical sciences and 7 candidates of technical sciences. For a significant personal contribution to the development of the space industry of Ukraine, he was awarded the following industry awards: "For Merit" of the National Space Agency of Ukraine, "Honorary Worker of the Space Industry of Ukraine" and "Veteran of the Space Industry of Ukraine", the award of the State Space Agency of Ukraine "For conscientious work", the jubilee medal and two diplomas named after Yu.O. Gagarin, jubilee medals named after Yu.V. Kondratyuk, G.T. Beregovoi, M.K. Yangelya, O.M. Makarov. In 2017, Azarskov V.M. for conscientious and impeccable work, fruitful pedagogical activity and achieved success in education and upbringing of the younger generation, he was awarded the "Excellence of Education" badge. For many years of conscientious work, outstanding achievements in the field of science and education, and on the occasion of his 80th birthday, professor of the Department of Aerospace Management Systems Valery Mykolayovych Azarskov was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "For Scientific and Educational Achievements". Congratulations to the jubilee!
