Scientific work at the department is one of the most important areas of activity.
On April 18, 2023 postgraduate graduate V.O. Golitsyn defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Dissertation topic “Improvement of data processing methods of a meter with non-orthogonal arrangement of inertial sensors”. Academic supervisor Sushchenko O.A.
On April 12, 2021, on the World Day of Aviation and Cosmonautics, the Department of Aerospace Control Systems held the defense of the dissertation work for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Philosophy of the department’s graduate student Vasyl Mykolayovych Divnych on the topic “Improvement of the laser Doppler velocity meter of aero and hydrodynamic flows.”
The scientific leader is a laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology and the award named after M.K. Yangelya of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of technical sciences, professor Valery Mykolayovych Azarskov.
The scientific work is devoted to the improvement of the modern laser device, which is used during field tests of models of new types of aircraft, power equipment, various types of machines and mechanisms at the final stage of their design.
